Already boasting 2 award wins just last year, this close-knit team of 16 professionals work across several different time zones, and all meet up 2-3 times a year to collaborate, generate new ideas, and build strong connections. As one of the fastest-growing startups in London, my client has ambitious plans to quickly expand to over 20 team members and as part of that growth, they are now seeking extraordinary salespeople to join them on their mission!
A bit about the Role:
Joining the team as a BDR there are lots of opportunities to progress up the ladder as you develop your sales career within the organisation. From the outset, you will be working with the entire Growth team to set the strategic direction for new business. You will:
Engage new suppliers and brands actively through various channels like cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and networking events
Conduct Discovery Calls with outbound and inbound leads
Perform product demos when required
Maintain accurate CRM records and update internal systems accordingly
Work closely with the Marketing and Product teams to continuously enhance theproduct
Collect and document feedback throughout the sales process, offering suggestionsfor improvement
Exceed growth targets and serve as a spokesperson, promoting the brand andachieving overall business objectives
Stay informed about industry trends, market activities, and competitors to identifyproduct improvements or new offerings
Represent the business at industry events, expanding your network and establishingvaluable contacts
A bit about you:
~1 year + in Sales, Business Development or Recruitment, would be advantageous!
You demonstrate a natural talent for customer interactions and hold outstandingcommunication skills
You collaborate effectively within teams, displaying empathy and inspiration as ateam player
With your natural curiosity and intellectual capabilities, you quickly grasp new topics and acquire new skills, making you a fast learner
Even with limited information and ambiguity, you are resourceful and adaptable, always finding a way to overcome challenges and deliver results
Possessing a strong ownership mindset, you stand up for what you believe is true and influence others to join you
Your strength lies in creative problem-solving, as you excel at identifying unique solutions to complex problems
