Job Description
The TxSSC is seeking candidates that are experienced in public education and are interested in having a positive impact on the safety and security of Texas schools. This position will have the unique opportunity to research, develop, and deliver training curriculum (virtual and in-person), technical assistance, and other resources focused on school safety and security. Job responsibilities include ensuring training and resources are current with the latest federal guidelines, Texas laws, Texas Governor’s Homeland Security Strategic Plan, and current best practices. The position will also develop training curriculum on a variety of school safety related topics as needed for educators, administrators, school-based law enforcement, and parent organizations in coordination with regional training conducted by the TxSSC.
