Job Description:

• The preferred candidate will have working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Office software (including Outlook email and calendaring tools, Word, and Excel); good computer skills.
• Experience handling telephone calls that require a high level of professionalism; excellent verbal communication skills; excellent organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks; attention to detail; ability to work independently.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Answering incoming telephone and email inquiries to the group and distributing these inquiries for response.
• Assisting the water program with data entry into DOH database, excel spreadsheets and other state systems that support environmental health program administration.
• Process paperwork, email and other related submissions to assist with implementation programs.
• Schedule meetings and maintain calendars. Assess inventory of forms and office supplies as request.
• Other duties as assigned.
