Job Description
The Department of Educator CAFÉ is currently seeking applicants from qualified candidates for part-time (typically two classes), non-tenure-track adjunct faculty positions. The Educator CAFÉ Program offers undergraduate degrees that can prepare students for Teacher Certification in related careers for either a school setting or the public sector. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in Field Residency 1, Field Residency 2, and Clinical Teaching. Preference will be given to applicants who have evidence of effective teaching in the field of Education. Teaching assignments include face to face seminars and observations in the field. Workload hours depend on the course schedule but may include after-hours conferences.

Review of applicants will begin immediately. The position will remain open until filled.
Finalists will be required to provide three current, original letters of recommendation and original transcripts to the Interim Director of Field Experiences, Mrs. Sherry Nichols. Before issuing a letter of appointment, at least two original letters of recommendation less than one-year-old and bearing the writer’s actual signature, as well as official transcripts from each degree-granting institution must be received directly by the College of Education & Human Development.
