Responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining advanced graphics technology. Research rendering techniques and algorithms to keep current on advancements in the industry. Collaborate with technical artists on technology used to create cutting edge graphics. Solve challenging problems that are often not well defined by writing a lot of performants, elegant and practical code. Uses cutting-edge software to create and alter code for animating objects, characters and environments. Uses computer programs to create and modify plans, scale models and animations. Works in a variety of fields such as architecture, engineering, marketing and entertainment. Creates visual models that may become physical objects or structures. Design teams then analyze and perfect the product design prior to its manufacture. Rendering designers incorporate the ideas and specifications outlined by their clients into a clear digital representation. Designers tend to collaborate with other team members, such as artists, engineers or marketing specialists, when developing a project. They also contribute to project development by creating visual representations and/or physical models to analyze a product, recommend changes or identify potential problems. Must have expert knowledge and skill sets in the following software: 3D Studio Max – 2011(V-Ray and/or Mental Ray Render Engines), AutoCAD 2008, SketchUp, and Adobe CS5 (especially skilled awith Photoshop and After Effects). Proficiency in Revit is also desirable. Must have experience in C++ and DirectX application development projects. Tasks will include working on our render engine and image processing algorithms. Experience with shrink wrapped/commercial app development Knowledge of Video, Graphics, 3D Modeling, Photoshop, Maya, AfterEffects, DirectX, Game Engines C++/MFC, C#/NET, CUDA, DirectCompute, Network Programming, Real Time Programming, Multithreaded Programming, Profiling/Optimizing.
