We don’t have revenue yet, so we can’t pay a salary right now.
As soon as the successful applicant generates revenue from our ready to sell TechieRank.com developed in response to Reputationaire’s client requests, this role can choose to receive a salary.
We are also offering up to 25% percentage of vested equity in both Reputationaire and TechieRank as well as the above mentioned salary/initial profit-share and opportunity, over time, to become a co-founder of both.

Reputationaire is a blockchain-enabled platform that allows users to import, store and exchange verified reputation data from ANY website.
They are then empowered to prove their credibility, while optionally remaining anonymous yet trusted.
As a YCombinator Startup School award-winning early-stage startup, and an RMIT Accelerator graduate, we have a launched MVP and have completed pilots with organisations, initially helping refugees and migrants.
IBM and RMIT University have awarded us $285k (cash and credits) to help build our blockchain-backed tech and fund our provisional patent.
I have been working on Reputationaire for 7 years (as of 1st Jan) and truly believe that individuals should be given the option if they wish to prove ownership of their online PUBLIC profiles (without providing any of their information other than the public url), and then, select which of those peer reviewed data points they wish to share ANONYMOUSLY with other individuals or organisations to overcome lack of local references, lack of local work experience, lack of local rental references, lack of local credit scores and fundamentally lack of trust (I read all human interactions are based on trust).
This definitely helps migrants or young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. I do hope one day we can help refugees / homeless people as my life mantra is to make a significant improvement to the world I am remembered for.
It also helps those ethical companies who wish to increase diversity and inclusion, or help the un/under banked as one of their complaints is no data about these individuals.
The role:

We are seeking an all-rounder with startup or commercial experience to join our team.
This role has huge growth potential and requires an individual who is a natural self-starter.
Your key responsibilities will initially be focused on our ready to sell (sub) product, TechieRank which is part of our strategic roadmap to later provide the world with data ownership and trust that’s easy to prove via Reputationaire.
You will be required to help refine and execute our vision, go-to-market strategies, customer discovery, help with product management, engage clients, form strategic partnerships, secure sales and help with all other day to day activities.

Through TechieRank and Reputationaire, you’ll be directly improving people’s life situation by helping them prove they are skilled and trustworthy to secure a job, place to live, financial assistance or signup trusted online irrespective of lack of local references/work experience.

The ready to sell (sub) product: TechieRank

TechieRank.com is a new platform launched by Reputationaire as an example of our data ownership technology (please note TechieRank does not use blockchain).
TechieRank provides Employers and Recruiters ranks Techies on GitHub (a code hosting platform used by 90% of developers). It gives unique instant big data rankings for the candidate e.g. “Sara is in top 6% of developers”.
Ranking a candidate based on their proven technical activity is useful because a candidate’s GitHub profile URL is usually already provided on their CV/in application forms – yet up to 75% of HR professionals don’t know how to assess someone’s GitHub so reject diamonds in the rough (often from diverse backgrounds) in 6 seconds.
It also ranks and highlights soft skills they demonstrate on Stack Overflow, a technical question and answer forum, for example, passion, communication skills, willingness to help others e.t.c.
Recruiters and employers tell us it is very hard and time consuming to assess soft skills which 97% say are more important than job skills.
TechieRank can also be used by developers, free of charge, to create a free LinkedIn Verified Credential linking to their TechieRank profile to increase their employability. 100% of developers choose to create their free credential during TechieRank workshops.
Their TechieRank profile also highlights their soft skills on both GitHub and Stack Overflow. Long term we hope techies will include their TechieRank profile on their CV rather than their GitHub profile which is standard today.
We’re looking for someone keen to refine and implement TechieRank’s go to market commercial strategy and build revenue from Employer and Recruiter clients and awareness with the developer community.

· Desire to help others overcome the lack of trust due to inherent human biases especially towards those who lack local references and experience (e.g. 800k yearly migrants, refugees, young people and the disadvantaged).
