Job Summary: SUNY Brockport is currently accepting applications
for an Assistant Professor of Adolescence Science Education. The person in this role is responsible for teaching courses in the Department
of Education & Human Development, for conducting research and publishing scholarship in any of the fields below, and for regular service
(including advisement and accreditation activities), at the department, school and University levels.
We seek scholars whose
research and teaching includes any of the following (or related) areas as they pertain to science education: 1) inclusive, anti-racist,
and/or culturally- and linguistically-sustaining pedagogies; 2) the dynamics of inclusive classroom cultures particularly for students of
color, LGBTQ students, multilingual students, and other minoritized learners; 3) equity-oriented teacher education practices and program
designs; 4) equity oriented practices of assessment or technologies; and/or 5) supporting and developing science teachers of color, LGBTQ
science teachers, multilingual science teachers, and other minoritized science teachers.

Salary and Benefits: The Minimum Salary for this position is $60,800.
