The Division offers programs and services that support Berkeley students, faculty, and staff in teaching, learning, and discovery. The Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education collaborates with campus partners to formulate and implement campus strategy around undergraduate education and the student experience. This new position in the immediate office of the Vice Provost Division for Undergraduate Education (UE) leads the strategy, design and implementation of communications for the division. The position involves developing, implementing and executing comprehensive, multidisciplinary communications programs involving work in multiple communications disciplines including content creation, design, digital work, and more. The Director of Communications will independently oversee and execute a comprehensive communications program for the Division of Undergraduate Education. This position utilizes a wide variety of communications media, including emails, websites, social media, and print collateral and associated technical applications including MailChimp and a custom email platform, Open Berkeley website content management system, social media monitoring and scheduling software, and the Adobe suite. Works with the Vice Provost and Chief of Staff/AVC to develop and execute organizational communication and branding strategy for a highly visible Division on campus. The position reports to Assistant Vice Provost/Chief of Staff for Undergraduate Education and provides executive communications support for the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and the AVC/Chief of Staff. |

This is an exempt, monthly paid position. The annual salary range of the position is $95,000.00-$110,000.00 commensurate with experience.
