Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
Bachelor’s Degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Four [4] years of full-time experience in higher education pertaining to at least two of the following: course, curriculum, catalog and bulletin development. Experience with the functions of a registrar’s office and working knowledge of curriculum practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with policies, procedures, administrative systems. Familiarity with SUNY and SED policies and processes as they pertain to proposing and revising curriculum. Working knowledge of program and course-level assessment. Experience setting up functional aspects of an enterprise-wide system or aspects of a system. Advanced proficiency in SQL and/or relational databases. Demonstrated project management skills and experience.
Brief Description of Duties:
The curriculum management system supports undergraduate, graduate, and professional education. By ensuring the accuracy of advertised program requirements students can better navigate their academic career and improve time to degree completion. The publication of accurate degree requirement data is necessary for compliance with SUNY, New York State Education Department (NYSED), and Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). The introduction of this software also aligns with strategic goals introduced through university goals to streamline the development of innovative academic programs. The ideal candidate for this position is a highly responsible, detail-oriented professional to serve as Curriculum Management administrator. This position manages campus-wide curriculum activities and oversees implementation and day-to-day operations of an enterprise-wide curriculum management platform. The administrator will work across the institution to ensure the system meets the needs of the university, faculty, and staff. The administrator will contribute to various strategic initiatives for the university. The Curriculum Management Administrator serves as a high-level liaison to campus-wide partners including faculty, department leadership and/or Associate Deans, central offices, and representatives within the university. The key relationship will be with the Provost Office. This position will support reporting changes as needed to the State University of New York (SUNY) system as well as to external partners at the State Department of Education (SED) and to the curriculum management platform vendor. This position will serve as part of the Sr Staff and will serve as an overall supervisor to the office staff. The incumbent is responsible for supporting activities and working with the staff supporting the area, as well as working closely with the scheduling lead to ensure deadlines are enforced and met. The administrator reports to the Associate for University Systems Analysis. The successful incumbent will have demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education with the ability to support and enhance a diverse learning and working environment. Be able to build strong and cooperative relationships with individuals across the university community. Also important to this role is a strong analytical and technical skill and ability including demonstrated ability to reason with logic, facility with problem-solving and data analysis skills. Incumbent should possess a strong sense of accountability, a proactive nature and is self-motivated. Must be able to work independently with minimal direction, exhibit good judgment and exceptional time management skills.

This is a full-time appointment. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Minimum salary threshold must be met to maintain FLSA exemption.
In addition to the employee’s base salary, this position is eligible for $3,026 UUP annual location pay, paid biweekly.
