Role and Responsibilities
Will work with off price accounts… this is not remote
The Jr. Account Manager will be responsible for supporting the divisional Vice President, having daily contact with customers, and managing the day-to-day division responsibilities. S/he will be involved with the support of both major mass and specialty store accounts, as well as an emphasis on tracking the automotive accessories business for all accounts.
Skills and Requirements:
• Supports VP of Sales on all aspects of major accounts – included but not limited to line reviews, buyer meetings, sample management and market appointments, etc.
• Responsibility for management of sales to regional accounts
• Maintains all brand decks/documents, samples, and inventory so that they are properly organized in a cohesive and presentable manner.
• Analyze business trends and product opportunities for overall business
• Regular store visits to area retail locations for competitive analysis and product development
• Follow up on order submissions. Communicate and collaborate with planning, operations, and logistics teams on all shipping issues.
• Responsible for the day-to-day administration and management of assigned accounts
• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Excellent computer skills with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal skills for effective interpersonal communication.
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Business or Fashion Merchandising)
• 2+ years of proven wholesale experience
• Keen understanding of mass merchant retailers and how to analyze the business with “retail math” (ie., sell through, on-hands, inventory, and margin)
• Excellent speaking / presentation skills
• Travel may be required.
