Who We Are:
The Educational Opportunity Project (EOP) at Stanford University is working toward a
future where all children have access to equitable educational opportunities. We are measuring educational opportunity in every community in
America and have built the first 10-year national database of academic performance based on nearly 450 million test scores. We hope that
researchers will use the data to generate evidence about what policies and contexts are most effective at increasing educational
opportunity, and that such evidence will inform educational policy and practices. Please visit edopportunity.org for more information
about our work and team.

As an EOP Research Scholar, you will work closely with Professor
Reardon and the EOP team. Responsibilities will include data management, constructing measures of educational equity using NYSED data,
conceptualizing and drafting research papers, and preparing academic papers for publication and research briefs for NYSED. You will also
collaborate with other EOP researchers and collaborators, as well as NYSED staff.
