Job Description
Principal Client Engagement Manager (Intralinks, Inc.; New York, New York): The Principal Client Engagement Manager (PCEM) is an integral role within the Global Service Delivery organization. The PCEM works closely with all stakeholders to design and implement solutions based on the clients’ requirements, and our product and service offerings. Specific responsibilities include: engaging as the customer-facing representative on a project team – primarily responsible for interfacing with client IT, Compliance & Security, and business stakeholders on the Discovery, Design, installation, or deployment of our integration products or custom Managed Service solutions as part of the overall implementation engagement; partnering with the Technical Consultants and other internal resources to understand client requirements and create a solution based on the suite of Intralinks products, Managed Services, or custom solutions; researching and maintaining knowledge in emerging technologies and solutions to solve business problems; being a coach and mentor as an SME to all other CEMs; playing a critical role in assuring the delivery of all Opportunities/Projects; helping manage the Opportunity upkeep, Pipeline management, and playing a key role in forecast readiness; understanding client business needs, gathering initial requirements, recommending best practices through direct client interaction, and working closely with the cross-functional teams to assemble solutions to meet the client’s needs; presenting initial timelines and setting client expectations; being an SME in all Intralinks core products, but also in all Service Delivery, Managed Services, and Professional Services market offerings; leading Kick-off call and presenting project plan; leading/participating in client requirement gathering sessions to define and understand the overall client use case, requirements, infrastructure, pain points, and existing systems; recommending and implementing solutions based on best practices, Intralinks product guidelines, and rational sense; documenting different artifacts (i.e., Requirement documents, custom processes, Work Instructions, etc.) pertaining to the required service or Intralinks product; communicating requirements and leading/coordinating with technical consultants and other service and support teams on the delivery of service or enablement of Intralinks products; validating the accuracy of the implemented artifacts throughout the project life cycle; providing guidance during client testing and support phase to bug/enhancement requirements; documenting and providing feedback to the Product Management/Development team on client feedback, any challenges, or areas of improvement; and being forward-thinking to identify gaps and look for ways to optimize and streamline. 5% domestic travel for meetings, conferences, etc. between the two main Intralinks’ offices.
Minimum requirements: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, plus 3 years of related experience in IT Project Management. Pre- or post-master’s experience is acceptable. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, plus 5 years of related experience in IT Project Management.
Must Have: 3 years of experience working with cross-functional technical teams including Customer Service, Product Management, Development, Sales, Pre-sales, legal and marketing; 3 years of experience participating in client solutions development sessions to recommend project scope, price and phasing; 3 years of experience coding & developing business critical reports with applications like Tableau & Oracle RightNOW CRM Analytics (this deep analysis supports business needs for revenue forecasting, budgeting and quarterly business review to management); strong organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines; excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills; strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify process gaps; strong ability to work independently; and ability to interface with customers, colleagues, management, and project stakeholders, as needed, to ensure overall project success. All skills can be gained concurrently.
Salary: $124,030 to $135,000 per year
