Overview
The Specialist, SEO will lead the SEO strategy for SPARC Group brands, including Aéropostale, Nautica and Lucky Brands. Working within a dynamic, fast-paced,highly collaborative group, this person will partner with our digital marketing agency to execute the day-to-day activities of the SEO programs. This position is responsible for determining and communicating areas of optimization within the SEO programs running across the brands.
Responsibilities
Execute against the SEO strategy, coordinating with stakeholders across all channels to ensure its effectiveness and maximize organic rankings and conversion rate
● Track & monitor daily/weekly/monthly performance metrics to understand organic search performance and communicate key insights and learnings to internal teams
● Represent SEO in Omni, category and digital commerce planning and serve as SEO subject matter expert across the brands
● Identify growth opportunities in core areas such as site infrastructure, keyword selection, or on-page factors optimization.
● Manage day to day responsibilities and strategic optimizations of SEO programs
● Determine and prioritize content campaigns, keyword building and link optimization in partnership with internal and external partners
● Collaborate cross-functionally and partner with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure SEO programs are fully integrated with all related activity to drive maximum organic ranking and related traffic, conversion rate and sales
● Monitor and communicate performance against effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of SEO
● Work closely with external SEO marketing agency to establish SEO strategies and best practices
Qualifications
● 2 plus years of experience within digital marketing and paid media channels, with expertise in SEO
● 1 plus years directly managing marketing teams and agencies
● Ability to apply analysis to influence business decisions to drive performance
● Highly collaborative and the ability to work as part of a team
● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
● Ability to operate on both strategic and tactical levels, translating vision to execution
● Bachelor’s Degree required
