Position Summary
The Secondary
Education/Foundations of Education Department at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a temporary, part-time
instructor for the 2023-2024 academic year. Responsibilities will include Student Teaching Supervision and/or teaching SEFE
courses.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s in education or related field and secondary teaching experience.
Commitment to the education of diverse populations. Successful performance in an interview and teaching
demonstration.

appointment. Recommended candidates will be required to complete criminal background check, including Act 34 Background Check and Act 151
(Child Abuse) Background Check and Federal Criminal (FBI) clearance prior to appointment. The recommended candidate will also be required to
submit a completed Act 24 form (PDE-6004) prior to employment. Full consideration will be given to applications received by September 30,
2023.
