We are specifically looking for instructional designers (IDs) with experience using Moodle as an LMS. The ID is a key member of the Learning Experience Design team who creates superior learning experiences for our clients that are engaging, meet quality standards, use a variety of media, and meet time/budget requirements.
Responsibilities
· Functions as an ID to develop higher ed courses:
o Plans and executes design and development work on complex course and content development projects.
o Leads meetings effectively.
o Supports faculty SMEs in the development of content.
o Adheres to established schedules and timelines.
· Leverages the following skills to execute project work:
o Client facing – Drives conversations with clients and participates in design efforts with SMEs, faculty, and other client stakeholders.
o Collaborative – Actively contributes to teamwork and dynamic.
o Initiative – Accepts new challenges in the spirit of gaining experience and developing new skills.
o Independent – Actively seeks out resources and develops problem-solving skills to work independently within the scope of work.
Required Minimum Qualifications
· experience with Moodle
· ONE of the following combinations of education and experience:
o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field plus at least 5 years of ID experience, or
o Master’s degree or higher in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field plus at least 3 years of ID experience, or
o Ph.D in any field plus at least 4 years of ID experience, or
o Ed.D in instructional design , adult learning or a related filed plus at least 3 years of ID experience
