About The Role:
As eMobility:Technical Program Manager, you will support hybrid and electric vehicle system and subsystem program and product development, implementation, and integration for products including inverters, onboard chargers, DCDC converters, and Electric Drive Systems, working closely with customers, Powertrain Electrified Mobility Products and R&D Engineers
Responsibilities Include:
Responsible as a technical & Systems point of contact, ensuring proper communication, cascading of customer requests, and proper escalation between the customer and internal functions at PEM.
Identify system level optimization strategies for Valeo proposed products
Interface with Customer system teams to introduce and integrate these solutions
Responsible for proper communication with customer, as well as internal cross-functional teams
Support system evaluation, analysis, technical studies of subsystems, systems, and at vehicle level
Support requirements analysis, compliance development, and design concepts for systems and subsystems
Support technical studies for quotes and engineering analysis with customers
Support test specification creation, definition, and result reviews on component and system level
Support design activities with internal and external contributors, including design reviews, FMEAs, DFM/A’s, gate reviews, etc.
Support technical topics with test groups prototype, manufacturing, commercial groups, logistics, and suppliers
Support benchmarking activities
Knowledge of Standards and requirements
What You Should Have:
B.S. in Electronic Engineering or comparable study paths
B.S. in Multidisciplinary Engineering including study of electrification preferred
Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in vehicle electrification at an OEM, Tier 1, or Tier 2
Experience in development of automotive power electronic products
Experience in development of automotive powertrain components
Advanced understanding of electric vehicle drivetrain/powertrain systems
