About Shibumi
Shibumi is a trailblazing, rapidly growing lifestyle brand on a mission to raise the bar on beach time, with innovative, thoughtfully designed products that are all about ease and respecting our sandy escape. Our first product, Shibumi Shade, forever improved the way we experience the beach, providing shade by working with the wind, not against it. Quickly earning its spot as the most popular beach shade product on the East and Gulf Coasts, Shibumi Shades can now be found on more than 800 beaches worldwide (though currently only sold in the US). From its founding in 2016 to 2021, Shibumi sold out of product every summer with skyrocketing demand despite near-zero marketing spend, and has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, USA Today and more. Shibumi is currently in development of several other beach products, crafted with the same commitment to raising the bar on beach time through innovative, thoughtful design.
