If you’re a Medical Assistant/Patient Services Rep looking for a new opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional environment where your talent contributes to changing people’s lives, then we want to talk to you. This position requires collaborating with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments.
We have an immediate opening for a full-time Medical Assistant/Front Desk Representative to join our Wexford, PA office. The schedule is Monday – Friday 7 am – 4 pm and every other Saturday from 7 am – 10 am. Phlebotomy experience is required.
We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the Medical Assistant/Patient Services Rep is responsible for:
Assists with the clinical care of fertility patients
General clinical assistance (ex: rooming patients, turning over exam rooms)
Data Entry
Enter outside lab results
Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients’ families
Works independently to assure the program goals are achieved
Support and promote excellence in customer service
Answer incoming phone calls
Schedule patient appointments
Collect payments
Occasional travel to our Fairfax office
What You’ll Bring:
The skills and education we need are:
Medical front desk experience; medical assistant experience preferred
Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience
High School diploma
Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
Strong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to follow-through, and high degree of comfort with computer applications, accuracy and speed with data entry is required
Minimum of one year of prior experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology
