Position Title: Assistant Professor, Education
Responsibilities
The position of Assistant Professor in Education, at the School of Education and Counseling Psychology, is full-time and tenure track. The Assistant Professor’s responsibilities include establishing or continued development of a research program and publishing high-quality peer-reviewed scholarship in an area related to educational leadership, K-12 administration and/or Social Impact Leadership; teaching graduate courses in teacher education and fulfilling the responsibilities associated with those courses; and contribute to departmental research and
teaching objectives including developing curricula; and fulfilling other instructional, academic, and related university service duties, e.g., faculty meetings, faculty committees, faculty boards; and generally participating in the academic life of the university. The Assistant Professor’s teaching load may include, but will not be limited to, teaching five courses over three quarters each year.
The successful candidate will possess
Ph.D. or equivalent in Education or related field.
