Ramapo for Children is seeking an organized and enthusiastic Assistant Day Camp Director to join our inclusive day camp program, Ramapo Day Camp from mid-June to late August. The Assistant Day Camp Director will support the Camp Director, and act as a Director for the younger division. Room and Board will be provided on our 250-Acre campus.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Training and supervising staff on an ongoing basis
- Ensuring daily programming runs smoothly, including parent drop off and pick up
- Working with the division leaders and staff to implement and ensure continuous improvement of the program
- Maintaining ongoing parent contact
- Supporting staff trainings and workshops
Four-year Bachelor’s degree is encouraged, and a minimum of three years of experience working with the target population is required. Additional experience in a supervisory position is preferred.
