The Talent Acquisition Consultant (Hybrid) will be responsible for sourcing and interviewing prospective Profisee team members. You will also own the process of creating better hiring standards and building a team of trusted, well-trained interviewers throughout the organization. The impact of your work will contribute to an enhanced candidate experience and strategic recruitment to align our hiring strategies with our overall company objectives. You will be successful by developing a creative and progressive approach to talent acquisition by focusing on the product, people, opportunities, and Profisee’s employer value proposition.
Reporting to the Vice President of People Operations, the Talent Acquistion Consultant will work out of Profisee’s headquarters in Alpharetta, GA on a hybrid basis. Our teams typically come into the office 2 days a week.
Requirements
Your Performance Objectives – What You Will Accomplish
Within your first 3 months, work with the Vice President of People Operations to complete the “Hiring with Your Head” or Adler program:
Within your first 6 months, learn, improve, monitor and implement our hiring process through a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Within your first 9 months, you will enhance and continue to monitor our employer-brand and DE&I initiatives.
Competencies – What We are Looking For
Great recruiting chops: You will be our “go-to” person for full life cycle recruiting. You will drive the process to ensure we hire the people we need to deliver on our growth plans. You should already possess a battle-tested mental model of what an effective recruiting process looks like and can share examples of how you have taken that model and tailored them to the unique constraints of your last organization. You are not just a great recruiter – you can also coach others on how to do what you are beginning to master.
Strong process engineer: You can tell us about times when you have laid out a step-by-step plan for how to recruit the best people simply, effectively, and repeatedly. The best candidates will be able to tell us about how they have tweaked this process using feedback they have gathered from first-hand observation, candidate touchpoints, or executive interaction. Bonus points for sharing how you have seen this done wrong and how we can avoid those pitfalls.
Influencing and relationship building: You know you can’t do it by yourself. You have the communication skills and emotional intelligence to quickly establish credibility with and gain the trust and respect of everyone in the organization. You must be able to balance asking the right questions with providing direction to ensure that initiatives are successfully implemented. You can convince people of both the “why” and the “how” of following a process.
Comfort with ambiguity: At times, this role will be responsible for taking nebulous ideas and translating them into specific, concrete actions. You should be comfortable taking nebulous direction, translating it into a plan, and enlisting those you need to get the job done. As such, you will have examples of times when you took a poorly-formed idea, sharpened it, and owned its execution from start-to-finish.
Get Stuff Done / Accountable: It bothers you when people don’t follow through on their commitments. You have no problem planning the work, working the plan, and proactively communicating your progress along the way. You can tell us about times when you have rolled up your sleeves, taken ownership of a body of work, and delivered the results with minimal support.
