As a Plastipak Recruiter, you are a brand ambassador, engaging with talent pools and community partners to showcase all that Plastipak has to offer. You’ll leverage your expertise as a Recruiter to generate a diverse pipeline of qualified candidates and assure a positive candidate experience with win-win outcomes.
You Will
Utilize a variety of tools, channels and mediums to proactively attract quality candidates to Plastipak
Screen candidates, swiftly advancing talent to the interview, offer, background and pre-start stages
Manage candidate experience during the recruitment process, responding promptly to candidate inquiries, managing candidate expectations and treated all candidates in a respectful manner
Serve as a talent acquisition business partner by understanding the business needs and manager priorities
Partner with local communities to promote and grow the Plastipak brand, with an eye to cultivating talent channels
Use Workday, our applicant tracking system, to maintain accurate and compliant records
Collaborate with the team to evaluate and improve recruiting procedures, as well as contribute to Associate care & engagement activities
You Have
Bachelor’s degree
A minimum of three (3) years of manufacturing industry recruiting experience in high-growth organization
Excellent track record of sourcing and qualifying candidates for a variety of positions
Enthusiasm for conducting outreach and building mutually beneficial partnerships
Knowledge of the Champaign market (i.e. companies, talent pools)
Proficiency with recruitment technology, including Applicant Tracking Systems (we use Workday), Indeed and other resume database platforms, LinkedIn
Attributes for success, including a high sense of urgency, customer-service orientation, and a team player mentality
