*About the Position: *
Today, the Council is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as our Membership Success Manager. This professional is empowered as the Council’s principal point of connection for a specific segment of the Council’s membership base. In addition to serving as a connection to the Council’s services and initiatives, this individual also manages the membership renewal process.
When successful in delivering impactful services, the Membership Success Manager, and indeed the entire Council team, will be perceived as being an extension of the member company’s own staff.
On a daily basis, the Coordinator can expect to be in a wide range of member meetings aimed at broadening our understanding of the member’s capabilities, as well as the challenges and opportunities facing the business.
By listening closely and asking pointed questions, these meetings enhance our ability to provide appropriate introductions to customers or investors, help us to support the company’s talent needs and position us to convey their stories across the a diverse array of media outlets.

The successful candidate must enjoy making connections with people and helping them to achieve their goals. As a core competency for the position, the coordinator should possess an engaging, empathetic communication style based on warmth and enthusiasm.
The work involves driving toward results by enrolling the commitment and buy-in of others. A self-confident, extraverted style that enlivens, engages and positively impacts individuals and companies is crucial.
The job requires a self-starter with strong initiative and self-direction. The job environment is fast paced and results oriented. While there is urgency to goal achievement, responsibility for the achievement of results is shared across the team. Great teamwork and on-time results go hand-in-hand at the Council.
The Council’s mission is only achieved with and through people. A sincere appreciation for people and how they are each uniquely motivated is an essential requirement.
As our market is one with frequent changes and a diverse array of emerging industries, the job requires regularly meeting and pro-actively establishing relationships with new groups and being always open to change.
Experience within a trade association, sales, or in account management are helpful, but not required.
Must have a valid drivers’ license.
