Our client is a telecommunication company, we have been instructed by them to locate a Head of Information Technology (Infrastructure) to support their growing business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the IT development and operation of the company
- Develop and implement IT strategies in alignment with business objectives
- Identify technological trends to foster innovation and enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with department heads, stakeholders and end-users on IT system enhancement to meet business needs
- Lead IT projects, monitor system performance, and manage departmental budgets to achieve Company objectives
- Oversee a diverse team of skilled IT professionals
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure adherence to service level agreements and contracts
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related fields
- Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably as an IT head; experience in the telecommunications industry is desirable
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software and system development methodologies
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities with a talent for motivating and inspiring teams
- Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
