Manage and supervise the Engineering Services Subcontract (ESS) group as well as the Software Engineering & Automation Management (SEAM) group at the Pantex Plant. The ESS group is responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the processes to secure external Mission Engineering (ME) services for task-based subcontracts and sta augmentation subcontracts. The SEAM group supports the ME organization for deployment and maintenance of engineering related computer hardware and software. This position reports to the Director of the Enterprise Interface (EI) organization within the Engineering Technical Operations (ETO) organization.
Responsible for developing plans to achieve tasks and goals established by the EI Director and ETO Senior Director. Conducts personal eectiveness appraisals and performance appraisals and recommends promotions & adjustments of immediate subordinates. Responsible for ensuring an adequate talent pool base among subordinates and evaluating/developing the capability of individuals. Leads development of long-range stang plans and strategies and analyzes the impact of mission changes on personnel. Determines programmatic objectives and requirements and recommends procedural improvements for assigned programs.
The candidate will possess demonstrated outstanding people skills with the ability to energize, organize, and lead groups of engineering personnel. The ability to present complex data & other material to senior CNS Leadership is imperative. The selected candidate must have the ability to evaluate engineering personnel for performance reviews, promotions, and merits. The candidate will demonstrate an ability to lead under and propagate a values-based culture including Integrity, Trust, Teamwork, and Excellence with a focus on the CNS imperatives of “Safe, Secure, Zero Defects, & Deliver as Promised”.
