Northwell Health is seeking a Director of Hospital Medicine for Long Island Jewish, Valley Stream Hospital. LIJ Valley Stream is a campus of LIJ Medical Center, with a growing hospitalist program. The Director will work with Hospital leadership along with Medicine Service Line leaders to facilitate team and hospital operations along with strategic planning. Promotion of continuous improvement within our clinical enterprise will be key to success. Candidates will be board certified in Internal or Family Medicine, clinically active in Hospital Medicine with leadership training and experience and show ongoing excellence working as a team. Candidates will also have strong communication skills and a desire to mentor and teach.
Northwell Health Hospital Medicine is dedicated to providing guideline-based medical care, ongoing quality, and process improvement, and ensuring appropriate resource utilization. Our team-members actively partake in leading medical research and are committed to clinical excellence.
