The Community Recruiter will manage recruitment pipeline efforts by developing partnerships with community-based organizations, high schools, colleges/universities, and training centers. This will include job fairs and event coordination; candidate engagement and fostering positive relationships with internal business partners to enhance the candidate experience.
Community Initiatives and Programming
• Works with community organizations to establish a partnership for candidate pipeline referrals.
• Builds and manages relationships with community organizations that provide workforce programs and resources.
• Serves as a primary contact for candidates referred by community organizations.
• Ensures a positive candidate experience partnering with the Talent Acquisition team for tracking and follow up.
• Coordinates and attends, as appropriate, community job fairs and events with support from Talent Acquisition.
• Expand partnerships with colleges, literacy programs, trade schools, and associations focusing on job readiness programming leading to healthcare careers.
• Collaborates with community organizations to recruit, interview, hire, and place interns and provide shadow opportunities in departments throughout the organization.
• Manage logistics and planning for outreach with school counselors and career centers regarding presentations, mentorships, and career exploration.
• Place calls to organizations, businesses, and referral sources to promote the branch and schedule and participate in lunch and learns as appropriate.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Community Development or related field, Associates Degree in a related field will also be considered.
• Minimum 2-4 years’ work experience in human resources, community development, and demonstrated program development preferred
• Willingness to travel to events as needed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required in English, Haitian/Creole and or Spanish
