Mt. Bachelor is looking for an Electrician to join our team in a full-time, year-round capacity. The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for maintaining Mt. Bachelor’s electrical distribution systems and facilities. This position requires the ability to work well with other departments and independently and the willingness to go above and beyond to finish every task with the highest quality possible. A Journeyman Manufacturing Plant license is required for this position.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Qualifications and Skills:
License/Certifications: Oregon Driver’s License, Oregon Manufacturing Plant Journeyman license
Technical: Power distribution, switching, electric motor maintenance
Physical Capabilities: Must be able to work outside in winter environment, work at heights, work with hand tools and power tools. Able to perform necessary work functions while wearing a full body harness or other personal protective equipment. Able to walk on uneven or irregular surfaces.
Additional: Ability to drive a vehicle in winter conditions. Ability to operate a snowmobile. Previous experience in maintaining a power distribution system
Minimum education required: High School Diploma and 18 years of age
Minimum time in related position: Minimum 5 years experience in plant maintenance working as a Journeyman
