Summary
HII-Mission Technologies is looking for a self-motivated Program Manager (PM) with outstanding organizational skills and the ability to work in a small team environment. The selected candidate will be part of our Senior Leadership team supporting the C5ISR Systems Operation. During this role, the PM is responsible for running the daily operations of the contracts, including but not limited to cost, schedule, and performance supporting the operation’s goals and objectives.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for the performance, schedule, and cost of several programs with multiple technical projects executed under the umbrellas of those programs while reporting to the Operations Manager.
- Directs and supervises all staff and support resources for the performance of program assignments and activities.
- Manages the technical direction of the program and associated projects through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with objectives.
- Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of program activities and ensures active customer interface for all projects.
- Oversees staff execution of projects from original concept through final implementation.
- Interfaces with all areas affected by the program including end users, computer services, and client services.
- Defines program and project scope and objectives.
- Develops detailed staffing and work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
- Conducts program and project meetings and is responsible for tracking and analysis.
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews program and project deliverables.
- Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
- Provides oversight, technical and analytical guidance to project team.
- Identifies risks and develops plans to remove or mitigate risk
- Manages one or more programs consistenting of multiple technical projects.
- May supervise professional and technical personnel performing in their regular disciplines.
- Participates in the development and execution of budgets, sales and marketing plans and other strategic tools.
- Participates in driving initiatives for achieving established objectives.
- May serve as the primary or assistant technical and management interface for the company, customer, and senior staff.
- Provides management services including general administrative oversight, time accounting, financial tracking, cost projection, inventory management, personnel evaluation and support.
- Responsible for the preparation of and delivery of contract deliverables.
- Responsible for assisting in the technical leadership and direction to a multidisciplinary staff.
- Operates a variety of software applications related to the specific job function.
- Specifies systems requirements and ensures that completed systems meet requirements.
- Prepares and reviews Standard Operating Procedures, Protocols, and other internal documentation.
- Leads by example and works to inspire peers, subordinates and superiors; actively develops assigned personnel.
What We Are Looking For
- 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.
- Prior military experience and / or knowledge of small arms weapons systems, ammunition, explosives, and energetics.
- Able to supervise, manage, support, and evaluate personnel.

- Passionate about protecting and supporting the American warfighter mission on the ground
- US Military Veteran experienced in special operations capabilities, incuding maritime systems, unmanned systems, soldier systems, electro-optics, weapons and ammunitions, explosives, and energetics.
- Able to perform at a high level in a small team environment
- Possess outstanding leadership skills, understands when to be a leader and when to serve as a supporting agent to another PM within the organization
- Active Secret or TS/SCI Clearance
