Job Description:
In partnership with the College Education, the Assistant Director will place P-12 teacher candidates within sites in public school districts. The Assistant Director will facilitate, manage, and nurture relationship-building with a lens of racial justice and social equity. The Assistant Director will also be involved with collaborative planning, preparation and delivery of professional development activities for students, university and/or public school faculty.

Work safely at all times, which includes but is not limited to, participating and completing all required safety trainings, as well as performing all job tasks in accordance with Minnesota State University, Mankato policies and procedures utilizing appropriate tools, equipment and personal protective equipment.
Bases on the essential functions of this position, MMB Policy #1422, and University policies relating to flexible work, this position is eligible for the following work mode:
Must have a valid U.S. drivers license.
Travel will be required to school sites where students are engaged in field experiences for student teaching and/or pre-student teaching placement.
Materials must be transported when professional development activities are planned and delivered by this position.
