Job Description:
This position will report to the Gresham Information Systems Software Engineering Supervisor. A successful candidate will work independently while taking direction from the Gresham Software Engineering Supervisor. The candidate will develop and support custom .NET applications, build Reports and ETL jobs using SQLserver SSRS/SSIS for the Manufacturing and Engineering organizations at the Gresham, Oregon facility.

Be familiar with web design methodologies.
Collaborate with IS developers; provide project updates and write functional and technical documents.
Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work independently and in a team to develop innovative solutions.
Must be able to work with both a technical and non-technical user community.
Use the Microchip tracking systems to log requests, issues, and projects.
Follow the Microchip Information Systems policies and procedures on development, project management, and change control.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Job Requirements: The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent and possess 2.5+ years of experience with Visual Studio 2017 or higher and relational databases.
Skills required: Visual Studio 2017 -2022, C#, ASP.NET, Visual Basic, Web API, WCF, MVC, Web Services/Web API, JavaScript/JQuery, HTML/HTML5, CSS3, Service Oriented Design Methodologies (SOA), SQL, Stored Procedures, Relational Database Structure, Oracle Databases, and general Data modeling concepts.
Other skills preferred: Microsoft O365 products, SQLserver 2008/2012/2016, SSRS, SSIS, Team Foundation Server, Project Management.
