Summary
The School of Graduate and Professional Studies at Messiah University invites applications for a
full-time faculty in the Master of Education program. Rank is open and will be determined based on qualifications. This is a 9-month
position with limited summer responsibilities.
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for
teaching and advising within the Graduate Program in Education.
Qualifications
Doctoral degree (PhD,
EdD) in education. Candidate should have a K-12 teaching experience and be able to teach both introductory and mastery level content in
their areas of expertise. Higher education and online teaching experience is preferred.

Advancing the mission of Messiah University, the School of Graduate and Professional Studies educates students for
a lifetime of intellectual exploration, ethical leadership and exceptional professional practice within a complex world. Our programs
include ten master’s degrees, two doctoral degrees, and numerous graduate certificates and post-master’s certificates. The coursework for
most of our graduate programs is conducted primarily online, with some programs being fully online and others being fully residential.

The Graduate Program in Education at Messiah University is designed to advance the

Compensation
Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and
experience.
