*Clinical Pharmacist – Inpatient Hospital*

*Job Description:*
Clinical pharmacists provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to designated service areas or patient populations to achieve optimal patient outcomes and safety. They function as members of multidisciplinary teams to improve medication therapy management. These positions act as drug information resources and their responsibilities include age-specific and/or disease specific consultative medication therapy evaluation, education, research and participation in quality improvement activities.
*Hourly Pay- $65 – 78 /hr *_*(Based on experience)*_
*Schedule Details: *
_Initially 5 month contract _
7 days on, 7 days off
(9p-7a or 10p-8a, Wednesday – Tuesday)
Vacation Rotation*:*
Assigned to any holidays that fall during the week “on”.
_**This would include – 11/23/23 (Thanksgiving day), 12/24/23 (Christmas Eve), and 12/25/23 (Christmas Day)**_
*Required Qualifications:*
* Bachelors Degree (PharmD)
* Registered Pharmacy License IL
* Residency: Pharmacy Practice – General (Preferred), Residency – Specialty(Preferred)
* 2+ years experience as Pharmacist in Hospital setting
* Strong foundation of medical terminology and pharmacology knowledge
* Familiar with Pharmacy Automation and Sterile Compounding
* Detailed oriented and strong organization skills
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
*Preferred Qualifications: *
-ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support Certified)
-Board Certified in Specialty Area
-CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
