Position Summary:
The HRIS Change Lead partners with the Global People Systems & Operations team to develop tools, processes, and systems that enable and empower our people to do their best work and drive Firm growth. This role helps the team design and deliver the Firm’s people practices and products, curate employee and candidate experiences, advise Firm leadership on organizational and individual people matters, and shape firm culture. The HRIS Change Lead is the first dedicated manager of change management and leads the efforts in designing a center of excellence around people data and service delivery. This role has a direct impact on shaping our approach to managing people systems and people related change for the global Firm.
As HRIS Change Lead you will:
Across All Change Management Efforts:
– Execute change management, Firm-wide communications and training strategies including stakeholder plan, change management plan, roadshows, and change related training efforts
– Initiate and develop relationships with others throughout the HR team and the Firm to identify and understand business needs
– Execute and coordinate change management projects, update of key resource and knowledge materials (e.g. FAQs), track the implementation of critical data/process changes, procedural updates, and governance documentation
– Identify and include all stakeholders in scope definition activities, understand the change schedule and key milestones, and receive schedule status regularly
– Provide regular and clear status updates to management
HR Technology Implementations:
– Lead the change management of project vision, roadmap, implementation, and support
– Facilitate project end user adoption of the new system within the McDermott user community, maximizing use of available tools and additional materials as required
– Draft and deliver Firm-wide communication for the project using effective channels
– Design, develop and deliver training strategies and plans for the technology launches and rollouts
– Act as functional lead for the Talent & Performance related technology solutions
– Evaluate options and assist with the design and deployment of external facing career sites, including the design, wording and branding for external messaging generated from internal systems
– Create and manage the implementation learning materials and knowledge articles
– Curate and deploy online learning content to support the technology training, adoption, and productivity aspects of the change strategy
– Manage planning, testing, and adoption for key technology releases
– Ensure confidentiality of data in keeping with international data privacy laws
Special Projects:
– Lead other change management effort projects related to the HR team in support of optimizing how we attract, engage, develop, and listen to our people and build high-performing culture
– Evaluate project scope to identify change management impacts, strategies and tactics tracking changes through full implementation (vision, roadmap, implementation, and support) for said projects
– Communicates to all impacted parties project milestones, status updates, as well as any existing or potential escalation issues as they relate to said projects
– Complete additional special projects as directed by the HR leadership team
Client Service:
– Engage and communicate effectively with cross functional stakeholders including HR Leadership team members at all levels and others in senior leadership throughout the Firm
– Benchmark change management efforts against external industry, region, and ‘best in class’ peers to determine best practice through research identifying links between human capital and business performance
– Present on change management efforts and progress as needed to leadership
Job Specification:
– Bachelor’s degree
– At least five (5) years of relevant experience in Human Resources
– Advanced knowledge of HRIS software
– Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Vision, and Word)
– Ability to driving employee and stakeholder action and communicating progress leadership and relevant audiences
– Strong business acumen and high-impact communication skills (both written and verbal)
– Ability to inspire trust, influence others, promote collaboration and motivate at all levels
– Ability to drive behavior and action through logical, concise, and insights/research-based messaging
– Ability to take the initiative to identify problems, offer creative solutions, and resolve issues
– Ability to multi-task, track, and manage multiple competing priorities with multiple deadlines, seek out the needed information to drive clear decisions, and effectively manage time
– Accurate and methodical with strong attention to detail
– Ability to collaborate and support other team members
– Ability to receive feedback and self-awareness adjust
– Ability to move seamlessly from writing communications, to building specific Workday configuration, to acting as an internal consultant on all things related to the project at hand.

Expected Pay Range in New York $120,000 – $152,000
Please note that quoted salary ranges are not guarantees of what final salary offers may be. Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that MWE provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
