McCarthy Building Companies is looking for motivated entry level Laborers I for an exciting project in Lake Oconee, GA. The Laborer supports the completion of projects by assisting carpenters, and other trades professionals.

 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in Task Hazard Analysis (THA) meetings

• Work in an organized manner

• Learn common construction materials

• Participate in certification courses (spotter, flagger, osha 10, fire watch etc.)

• Utilize common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools (hammer, shovel, measuring tape…etc.)

• Assist other trades when necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven commitment to Safety

• Able to night shifts when needed

• Must have reliable transportation to/from the job site

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions

• Must be self-motivated and can work well with others

• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency

• Minimum age 18+

• Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material weighing 50 pounds

• Ability to squat, crawl and work in confined spaces

• Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization
