Position description The administrator will work seamlessly with the East Region Chair and Operations Director to carry out strategic projects, or other responsibilities as assigned by the Vice Chair overseeing the East Region. Projects may include but are not limited to: Support for East Region-specific travel, leadership council management, culture of philanthropy, communications, moves management, and clinical services. The administrator will collaborate with and support other professionals, staff, and volunteers to carry out operating plans in support of Mayo Clinic’s philanthropic goals. Collaborations may include interfacing with Mayo’s highest-level benefactors, public trustees, Mayo leadership, Development staff, institutional staff, and priority partners. Strategic thinking and collaboration in partnership with Development and institutional colleagues are essential. Must excel at change management, implementation, and execution. Maintains a deep knowledge of philanthropic process across the entire fundraising cycle and is well versed in Mayo policies and procedures regarding fundraising, providing and institutional perspective. Ability to manage high profile projects, organize teams, leverage resources, and achieve desired outcomes. Must have excellent communication, organizational, problem solving, and human relations skills. Requires excellent decision-making and sound judgment capabilities.
