About Masterworks:
Masterworks is a fintech platform that allows anyone to invest in SEC-qualified shares of multi-million dollar paintings by names like Banksy, Basquiat, and Picasso. In just three short years, we have built a portfolio of nearly $800 million in world-class artworks, introducing over 700,000 individuals to the $1.7 trillion art market.
Masterworks has been covered by major media publications such as The New York Times, CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, and the Financial Times, and was recently recognized as one of the Top 50 Startups in the US by LinkedIn.
In 2021, Masterworks achieved unicorn status raising $110M in its Series A fundraising round at a valuation exceeding $1 billion.
Our 200+ employees are based out of our offices at Brookfield Place in the Financial District of New York City. With an entirely in-office team, there are endless opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and learning.
Why Masterworks?
If you answered “Yes” to any of the above, we’d love to hear from you!
What We Need:
We need an FP&A manager to own budgets, forecasts, financial models, KPIs, board packs, corporate decks, special projects and everything in between. Our FP&A manager goes to bed every night thinking about Excel formulas. They watch Youtube videos about python on the weekend. They believe that presentation matters and are obsessed with how numbers can tell a story. But they don’t just analyze; they collaborate with senior management to answer important company questions. They never want to stop learning.
Our FP&A manager wants to be part of a high performance finance team. Other finance teams stop at pivot tables and vlookup. Not at Masterworks. We thrive on advanced tools like Python, Alteryx, SQL, Google Query and the like so we manage $1 billion worth of art across 300+ SEC-reporting entries – and the portfolio keeps growing.
Our FP&A manager will take their FP&A expertise to a new level, collaborating with a team that thrives on continuous learning and building relationships across the company to drive data-powered decisions. They will initially report to the Chief Financial Officer.
