Under general supervision and direction from the Administrative Manager of the Transplant Center, the Patient Services Coordinator II (PSC II) will provide administrative support to all aspects of the physician practice for clinical care management. The PSC II will work with the physicians, staff members, and management to ensure a quality-based, customer-oriented flow of work. Utilizes discretion and judgment to organize priorities, complete tasks, and handle confidential patient information. Performs a wide range of administrative tasks to support the medical office, including scheduling patient appointments and diagnostic testing, obtaining referrals and pre-certifications as needed; providing patient reception, preparing consultation letters, notes, correspondence, and manuscripts; performing photocopying, faxing, filing, and answering telephones.
