The Massachusetts General Hospital’s Medical Practice Evaluation Center (MPEC) is seeking a temporary Grant Coordinator to join our team for approximately 6 months (through the middle of February 2024). As a member of MPEC, you will work with an internationally recognized multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving clinical outcomes, increasing value in health policy, and informing global public health through innovative research, collaboration, and education. In the Grant Coordinator role, you will ensure the successful execution of sponsored awards in compliance with institutional and NIH/foundation policies and procedures and will provide oversight of existing MPEC assets.
To be a successful Grant Coordinator, you should have excellent attention to detail and follow-through, enjoy creative problem-solving, and be an effective communicator. You will receive comprehensive training on the lifecycle of a sponsored research award, including proposal preparation, fiscal management, procurement, and compliance considerations – skills that are highly desirable in all facets of research administration – and no prior experience with grants, research compliance, or fiscal management is necessary.
