Country Manager – Mexico
Salary: $50,000-$110,000 + startup equity + world class benefits
Location: Mexico is ideal but not required. The right candidate can be anywhere in the world. This is a remote role with travel as required.

Manufactured is a venture backed inventory platform. We are building the first inventory exchange for SMBs creating, making, and selling physical products around the world. We serve customers doing $1M – $100M in annual revenues in Fashion, Accessories, Healthcare, Construction Materials, CPG, Food, Electronics, Home Goods, Industrials, and Commodities.
With over 500+ vendors across 25 countries (and growing), we make the inventory cycle a breeze by handling everything from vendor discovery and negotiation to shipping, warehouse coordination, quality control, PO advances, through to collections. We’re hiring our first Country Manager for Mexico. You’ll represent Manufactured in the area. You’ll also be a trusted advisor to our internal teams and customers on manufacturing in Mexico.
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years experience sourcing, procurement and/or quality control in Mexico
- You are a true expert in manufacturing in Mexico. You are well networked with vendors and understand how business operates there
- You speak the local language and are comfortable with the local nuances including values, customs, and business norms
- You’ve successfully managed production and delivery of multiple products in Mexico
- You have a proven track record of working with customers in Mexico and have multiple examples of success working with different partners
- Ideally, you live in Mexico but this is not required
- YOU OPERATE WITH THE HIGHEST ETHICAL STANDARDS. You do not take kickbacks from partners. Manufactured has a zero tolerance for unethical business practices and we will prosecute for any unethical or illegal behavior
- Startup experience is nice to have
The role:
- You’ll represent Manufactured in Mexico and neighboring countries and provide support for offshore manufacturing in the area
- Expand our network of vendor partners in Mexico. You’ll constantly build our vendor pipeline by fostering new relationships with vendors and promoting awareness of our brand
- Diversify our vendor partnerships. You’ll identify and partner with vendors in a variety of different industries
- Trusted advisor to internal and external partners on manufacturing in Mexico
- Verify and onboard new vendors to Manufactured
- Manage ongoing relationships to ensure high standards and strong mutual benefit
- Lead pricing and negotiation to achieve our business targets
- Oversee quality and manage production to ensure timely and high quality delivery
- Stay current on local policy, trends, and culture that affects manufacturing and Mexico. Use your expertise to recommend new solutions and approaches in your Mexico
- Ensure high ethical standards for all operations and uphold Manufactured’s commitment to ethical business practices

Our interview process:
Interviews are business conversations. We’ll treat you with respect. We’ll assess you, and you’ll assess us. If you’re asked to complete a case study we will compensate you for your time.
Here’s a typical interview process:
- Founder introduction: You’ll meet with one of our Founders, Pranay Srinivasan or Rob Brown. We’ll learn more about each other and discuss preliminary role and compensation expectations
- Second Founder interview: You’ll then meet with the other Co-Founder. At this point we may introduce a case study or technical interview
- Primary Interest: We’ll have a deeper conversation about you joining the company. We’ll get into the details of your role, your onboarding plan, and your offer. We should all come out of this conversation feeling aligned and excited about the future
- Mutual Diligence: You’ll provide our team with three professional references. We’ll also conduct our own backchannel references via our networks (we won’t contact any current employers). You’ll also meet with a few members of our team to learn more about us
- Verbal offer: All things going well, we’ll present you with a verbal offer. You can expect this to be to align with what you discussed at the Primary Interest stage
- Once you accept we’ll send you over the legal documents to get it signed, sealed, and delivered!
