Mango USA Looking for Assistant Designer – $K-K at New York, New York Full Time

We are a growing apparel manufacturing company located in midtown Manhattan. We specialize in the OPP customer and looking for an assistant to our growing team. This is a great opportunity for a designer looking to grow and learn. We hang in stores such as Ross, Burlington, Rainbow and Variety. Open to entry level.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have a formal Design education
• Must be able to sketch complete shapes in Illustrator, for easy filling
• Must have photoshop skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines in a fast- paced work environment
• Must be able to take direction and work independently
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Positive and professional attitude
• Understands the OPP customer
• Must be a team player willing to jump in

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide reliable and responsible support to Senior Designer
• Draw accurate flat sketches and detailed sketches
• Create new trend right prints and set-up for factory
• Help research and create seasonal color cards

Monday – Thursday. Fridays are off.
