This role will be based in Sunnyvale.
We are looking to hire a User Experience Engineer for the Productivity Engineering team. As a User Experience Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing enterprise products that LinkedIn employees don’t just use, but love. We are an innovative team solving enterprise-scale problems and providing solutions that enable employee productivity.
Responsibilities:
Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale, and the specifics of a user-centered design process
Create holistic design solutions that address business, brand, and user requirements
Design and implement overall UI using ReactJS
Evaluate, suggest, and outline improvements to existing interface flows
Collaborate with Software Engineers to deliver final products
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, HCI, Design, or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years of UX Engineering and/or product design experience.
2+ years of experience with HTML, and CSS
2+ years of experience in user experience design or industry experience (corporate, software, web, or agency)
2+ years of experience with foundational design skills, and highly developed organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in JavaScript with an emphasis on UI development, skilled in engineering user interfaces, particularly through implementing UIs using ReactJS.
Proficient in utilizing the MUI (Material-UI) design system for creating aesthetic and functional User Interfaces.
Experience working with cross-functional teams (including product management, and engineering)
Conduct user research to gain a deep understanding of our users’ motivations, goals, pain points, and day-to-day realities.
Experience with conveying design concepts and strategies to non-design stakeholders, including business, product, and technology teams, bridging the gap between design and engineering.
Ability to create information architecture diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and screen flows
Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision.
Ability to grasp multiple product requirements with careful attention to detail.
Proficiency in Design tools such as Figma and Sketch.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is [$128,000 to $226,000]. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
