Job Description

The Analytics Associate will leverage one of the richest proprietary data sets in the world to discover insights that help our advertising sales team serve our clients and agencies. This is a unique role within the Global Strategy & Operations function focused on driving business growth through powering high impact data-driven decision-making and insights.
In this role, you will learn the business inside-out, develop roadmaps, test & learn, and drive outcomes for our global customers. Additionally, you will cultivate strong relationships and collaborate cross-functionally with business leaders, marketing, data science, and product teams in order to identify opportunities, design, and deliver results.
This position offers a candidate with data, business intelligence, or analytics experience an exciting and high-profile opportunity to influence the trajectory of a significant portion of LinkedIn’s overall business.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver global analytics initiatives including solution design, roadmap development, prioritization, and successful implementation.
- Write Trino SQL queries & Python scripts to extract necessary data, analyze the results to generate actionable insights and present the findings either in Tableau, Excel or PowerPoint
- Build dashboards & analysis pipelines iteratively to provide insights at scale. Develop comprehensive understanding of LinkedIn data structures and metrics.
- Understand LinkedIn’s marketing ecosystem and bring new ideas to market that help end-clients make better marketing decisions.
- Collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, product and data teams to provide analysis, reporting and tools that inform key stakeholders
- Make business recommendations, conveying findings at multiple levels including managers and peers through visual displays of quantitative information.
- Develop scalable and repeatable playbooks/narratives for internal stakeholders
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years’ experience in related field.
- 2+ years of experience working with data, systems or tools in a business setting, including data management, data science, analytics, business intelligence, operations, engineering, reporting, or consulting.
- 1+ years of experience using SQL, analyzing and presenting data
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience applying data analysis to solve business problems in complex, fast-moving, and ambiguous environments.
- Experience with dashboard/BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with Trino SQL and distributed data systems such as Hadoop and related technologies.
- Experience with Python
- Track record of driving measurable business impact through technical expertise and business acumen; analytical, structured, systematic and creative problem solver.
- Proven experience leading Analytics & BI initiatives, including end-to-end solution design, deployment, process transformation, troubleshooting, and data-driven insights.
- Proven experience managing a large, diverse group of stakeholders and driving global projects independently.
- CRM Data Expertise: Knowledge of data from a CRM, preferably Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
- Experience with digital media/advertising.
- Bias toward action; comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $78,000 to 126,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
