Position Description
The Help Desk Associate role is accountable for supporting XPRIZE users in their day-to-day activities. This role is accountable for overall Help Desk support efforts within the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
More than 90% of your time will be spent supporting Users with IT issues ranging from desktop
to software and SaaS applications.
Other responsibilities for this position include but may not be limited to:
● Answering technical queries and troubleshooting any reported problems
● Fully document all cases in the IT ticketing system(Jira Service desk)
● Escalate support calls to Systems Administrator as necessary
● Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
● Installing and configuring new hardware and software
● Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes
● Assume ownership of project-related tasks as needed or assigned
Work assignments will be a combination of self-generated projects that are aligned with their
primary accountabilities and the team’s overall objectives, as well as assignments provided by
the VP, Technology.
Requirements
● Good knowledge of Ticketing systems (Jira service desk) is required
● Good knowledge of Office 365 suite applications is required
● Good knowledge of G Suite applications required
● 3+ years of experience working with Windows 10/11 is required
● 3+ years of experience of working with MAC OSX client is required
● 2+ years of experience with centralized Endpoint Protection Systems
● Must work well in team environments
● Have significant experience supporting remote telecommuter environment
● Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills
● Bachelor degree with a concentration in CIS is preferred but not required

The anticipated base salary for this position is $65k/yr to $75k/yr and may also qualify for an
annual incentive. This role is eligible for our extensive benefits package and generous paid time
off including vacation, sick, and holidays. The actual base salary offered will depend on a
variety of factors including the qualifications of the individual applicant, years of relevant
experience for the role, level of education attained, and certifications and/or other licenses held.
