About the Role
Lectric is looking for a charismatic leader to oversee the internal Lectric Community; specifically leading the Human Resources function. This strategic role will enable an outstanding employee experience, which results in high levels of engagement and performance and supports sustained growth for our people and our business. This position will report to the CEO and will supervise the current HR/People team.
Key Responsibilities
Positively impact the culture of the organization by understanding the culture and how policies and decisions made in HR impact Company culture
Partner with functional leaders on key business initiatives, ensuring teams are positioned for success through organization design, talent management, change management, and coaching
Drive performance on HR measures, including turnover, stability, retention, and culture & DE&I initiatives
Oversee staffing and talent acquisition needs; collaborating with business leaders on best practices to recruit, retain and develop talent at all levels
Lead the on-boarding, learning & development and performance evaluation programs
Manage the Company’s recognition, perks and rewards programs driving employee engagement and satisfaction
Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to business leaders and managers with active management of routine to complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations and partners with leadership to recommend appropriate action to resolve the issues
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
Research, analyze and respond to employee/manager questions and/or issues regarding HR policies and processes
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive HR experience with broad knowledge of employee relations, performance management and partnership to leadership and employees
Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field
Deep employee relations experience in a restaurant/retail type environment
Thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures and Federal and State regulations, including Workers Compensation, FLSA, FMLA, COBRA, ADA, HIPAA, and EEO laws
Working with ADP systems a plus
Working in a start up or high-growth company a plus
