Koch Specialty Plant Services, LLC (KSPS), a Koch Engineered Solutions Company, is looking for a Capital Project Planner to join the team in Houston, TX.
*Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday 10 HR work shifts-this role will require overtime*

What You Will Do
- Communicate with Tech Services, Process Operations, Quality Department, and the Capital Project Management Team to determine a defined scope of work for each capital project.
- Utilize planning software to create job steps for scope of work with safety and efficiently as priority to establish an accurate plan/schedule for capital project execution.
- Verify and create bill of materials for equipment / materials needed for execution. Follow up to ensure materials are on site prior to execution.
- Work with the Capital Project Management Team to establish Logistic plans and Safety plans.
- Assist with coordination of the scope of work during execution.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Industrial I&E project planning experience in a capital project and turnaround environment
- Experience with turnaround & capital project construction work package development, utilizing planning software and creating job step outs, creating bill of materials and the understanding of planning practices from the conception phase through execution.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings or blueprints and utilize them to identify industrial process constructability.
