SUMMARY:
Justrite Safety Group is looking for a Business Systems Analyst who can work remotely. The Business Analyst is responsible for assisting in the implementation, development, and support of the company’s Friedman Frontier Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. In this specific position, the person will work closely with other Business Systems analysts and developers in the day-to-day operations to primarily support our Frontier ERP system.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Friedman Frontier ERP operating Subject Matter Expert. Availability to learn and back up other ERPs as needed.
* At least 3-5 years of experience on Friedman Frontier ERP systems. The focus should be on the modules used in manufacturing environments such as quality management, manufacturing systems, warehouse management, finance, and process control systems.
* Maintain existing EDI connections and add new trading partners as needed.
* Troubleshoot and fix Frontier ERP system issues within SLA guidelines.
* Establish and maintain SOPs for Frontier ERP administration and policies.
* Train users and other support associates on Frontier ERP process handling.
* Develop ad hoc reports as needed for business requirements.
* Develop programs and process automation as needed for business requirements.
* SQL, CL, RPGLE programming knowledge.
* Integrate and maintain third party software connections.
* AS400 system administration (monitoring issues, managing disk space, coordinating with data center, coordinating hardware/software issues with IBM and service provider, maintaining backups, job scheduler).
* Direct contractors based on business requirements.
* Prioritization of business requirements needs.
* Form overlay design.
* Functional expertise in core Frontier ERP functionality like Finance, Manufacturing, warehouse management and Inventory.
* Deep understanding and knowledge of business processes.
* Experience with full lifecycle of implementations (discovery, requirements, building, test, training, and support)
* Support and train users in their various functional processes. Provide recommendations based on best practices.
* Involvement in supporting change management and process improvement.
* Strong user and application support including presentation skills (face-to-face and virtual) required.
* Ability to communicate effectively, and work both independently, in teams and with other business units.
* Microsoft Office 365 – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote, Visio and SharePoint Online.
* Travel within the United States and some International travel will be required up to 10%.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or relevant field.
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a business systems analyst supporting Friedman Frontier in the manufacturing industry.
* AS400 system administration
* Experience with EDI connections
* Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Highly analytical mindset, along with diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Hands on experience with at least one of the ERP systems
* Ability to creatively approach and solve problems.
* Basic understanding of SQL tables, views, queries, functions, and triggers
* Help desk ticketing systems for issue logging and resolution with users.
* Project management skills and experience with Microsoft Project
* Understanding of the handheld scanners and label printing process a plus
