As a key member of the Human Resources team, you will design and implement talent acquisition strategies for the organization. You will bring an eye for talent and will develop and manage the talent pipeline. You will perform full lifecycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, candidate identification, selection, negotiating, hiring, and onboarding for current and future talent. You will be the face of talent acquisition for JT THORPE.
The Talent Acquisition Partner will apply advanced recruiting and sourcing methodologies to attract and hire top talent in a competitive market. You will build internal and external relationships to advance the brand of JT THORPE within the industry and community.
*WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING*
* Create recruitment strategies and maintain a talent pipeline to support current and future business demands
* Actively screen and source candidates, often for hard to fill, niche positions
* Assist in developing branding strategies to effectively attract top talent
* Continually learn and understand our business and industry to improve talent acquisition efforts
* Assist in creating effective job descriptions that attract top talent
* Continually stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques for attracting top talent
* Create a talent acquisition experience consistent with our vision, mission, and core values
* Develop training and resources for hiring managers to ensure an effective selection and hiring process
*WHAT YOU’LL NEED*
* A bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, communications, or other relevant discipline
* 3+ years’ experience in full life cycle recruiting
* At least 1 year of recruiting experience in industries and/or positions similar to JT THORPE
* Expertise in sourcing talent across various platforms
* Has passion for finding the right fit with excellent judgement and an eye for talent
* Excellent writing and oral communication skills
* Understands employment laws related to selection and hiring of talent
* Understands the importance talent acquisition and its impact on brand integrity
* A high bar across the board – from your own contributions, to the people you work with, to the requisitions you work on
* A “driver” personality – biased toward action – constantly pushing to be the best
* Ability to self-structure (independence is key to this job, and therefore organization, strong time management and multi-tasking is required)
