JOB SUMMARY & DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Recruiter is responsible for leading the HungerRush talent management function with a focus on aligning the Recruiting team to the HungerRush mission and values. This person will lead the recruiting efforts to bring our company strategy, brand and culture to life in our Recruiting process. This person must be engaging, dynamic, comfortable, highly visible, and proactive. The role will report directly to the Chief People Officer.
This is a remote role but may not be performed in the following states: California, Colorado, Maine, Minnesota, New York, Washington D.C, or Washington. Access to an office space is available in Overland Park, KS and Houston, TX.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Lead the Recruiting team and recruiting efforts for the company on a local and national level to attract world class talent
Participate in acquiring talent from sourcing to onboarding
Manage employer brand with a focus on equity and inclusion
Assist with headcount forecasting, sourcing strategy creation, and ongoing process improvement in the function
Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and candidates
Analyze market compensation data and practices to create and maintain a competitive edge in acquiring talent
Create a passive and pro-active sourcing & recruiting strategy
Manage KPI’s, compensation, job audits, market adjustments, etc.
Assist with recruiting efforts: research, advertising, interviewing, and testing of candidates
Assist with the onboarding process of new hires
Bring thought leadership on Recruiting and talent management to HungerRush
Organize and participate in Talent Engagement events and other corporate events as needed
Cultivate an environment of passion and the creation of a high performing team
Other Talent & HR projects as appropriate and required
Establish and maintain employee goals and conduct regular performance reviews
Continually work with Recruiting team to ensure a consistent understanding of responsibilities of all employees in a continuing effort to define “high-performance”
Design and execute a strategy to train and mentor the Recruiting team to consistently demonstrate the qualities and behaviors required to execute our business strategy
Analyze, recommend, and deliver learning solutions for Recruiting team to strengthen skills and the ability to work more effectively
Comfortable in a role of influence, requiring interface at all levels
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
Comfortable in executing headcount forecasts and retention strategies
Detail oriented multi-tasker
Highly responsive and positive with the ability to motivate others
Flexibility/adaptability – ability to changes priorities quickly and often and understand urgency
QUALIFICATIONS:
Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of application tracking systems
General knowledge of employment laws and practices
Bachelor’s Degree in related field (preferred)
5-8 years of experience in Recruiting, talent acquisition, and sourcing
3-5 years of experience recruiting for technology and software skills
1-3 years of supervisory or management experience
LinkedIn Recruiter expert
Social Media and Branding experience
