Job Summary:

• As a Polysomnographic Tech, you will use specialized equipment to record, monitor and analyze various physiological parameters in sleep, including recognition and appropriate response to critical events such as cardiac arrhythmias, seizure disorders and other medical emergencies.
• You will be trained in and performs analysis and scoring of PSG recordings, including preparation of detailed reports and data management and should have the ability to train other personnel in all aspects of polysomnography.
• You will perform direct patient care with ability to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, as well as provide patient education and training on sleep/arousal disorders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.

• Successful completion of a formal sleep training program or equivalent training required.
• BRPT certification (RPSGT) required.
• A minimum 2 years’ experience preferred, but will consider less.
• American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
